If you accept that this is a probabilistic digital reality as Tom Campbell has derived in his My Big TOE scientific model, then many paradoxes of science and philosophy are simply solved.

Zeno was a fifth century Greek philosopher known for his paradoxes, some of which are discussed here with reference to digital reality and quantum mechanics.

In a radio interview in 2009, Tom was asked by a listener "Einstein's equation is E=Mc2. What would your equation be? " He answered, R=I (he explains this is more of an identity than an equation).

The steps current science needs to take toward understanding the nature of reality are: 1. R=I (Reality equals information.) 2. I=VR (Information derives our Virtual Reality) 3. VR=C (Consciousness is the self aware information system wherein the VRs computations are made)

Having unified physics and metaphysics with My Big TOE (it has to be big to cover the known and unknown), Tom's statement within the context of this discussion that "there is no distance" supports the often asked questions such as why does distance healing work, how does telepathy work, and where do psychics get their information?

Some have said that physicist Tom Campbell's My Big TOE model of reality has scientifically derived God. Tom explains this living entity in his science terms as the executive branch of the LCS (Larger Consciousness System). In regards to the LCS, the concepts of "perfect" and "infinite" are discussed.

Tom's expertise as a large complex systems analyst for NASA, and his expertise in exploring the multidimensional realms of our reality, led him to logically deriving My Big TOE from only two assumptions; Consciousness exists, and it evolves. (An elegant model has few assumptions; most current popular models have 14 or more).

The value of MBT many have found is that it is a "model that explains the data you collect in your subjective experience.

Dr. Pim Van Lommel's Scientific Studies on Near-Death Experiences and Consciousness, May 2013

Van Lommel is best known for his scientific work on the subjects of near-death experiences and consciousness, including a prospective study published in the medical journal The Lancet.

He is also the author of the 2007 Dutch book titled Endless Consciousness: A scientific approach to the near-death experience (Eindeloos Bewustzijn: een wetenschappelijke visie op de Bijna-Dood Ervaring), which has been translated to German, English, French and Spanish (English translation: Consciousness Beyond Life, The Science of the Near-Death Experience", Harper Collins, 2010). In his book Consciousness Beyond Life: The Science of the Near-Death Experience, he postulates a model where consciousness is beyond neurological activities of the brain.

He suggests that the brain is merely a terminal for accessing consciousness which is nonlocal (i.e. situated outside the physical body). In this model the brain is analogous to a computer terminal accessing a mainframe or the internet. He further hypothesizes that noncoding DNA and quantum mechanics would make such nonlocal access possible and this model can explain how near-death experiences can be experienced and remembered by people whose brain had no measurable activity.

Van Lommel studied medicine at Utrecht University, specializing in cardiology. He worked as a cardiologist at the Rijnstate Hospital, Arnhem, for 26 years (1977-2003).
